More webhost gushing

I just installed the wp-cache plugin successfully for the first time ever! I tried multiple times on the old host but something in their server settings prevented it from working without sending a support ticket to have something changed manually on the server (I forget what exactly).

Also, I’m now able to send mass email notices to all registered users in the forum, which I couldn’t do at all on the old host. I don’t know what they changed but nobody with a phpbb forum (or smf or some of the others) was able to email their users with the forum’s built in mass email functions for a while now. This is why I couldn’t email everybody when I switched from mybb to phpbb3. :(

I’m very very happy about this. I’ve been fighting with my site for weeks and now everything just works! It’s all going so well that I think I should give it at least a full week to make sure everything really does work before saying who the new host is, just in case I jinx it. ;)

Now if I could somehow get Telus to keep our phone/internet up for more than five minutes at a stretch everything would be perfect.
