I’m really sorry I haven’t posted anything more interesting about the game for quite a while now, I really really did intend to, but I haven’t been able to play much for a few weeks. I’m currently working on a site related to World of Warcraft so I’ve had to spend a bit more time in there than in lotro.

I do dearly dearly love lotro though, I think it’s going to be quite the competition for the 500 pound gorilla that is WoW, and I would’ve bought a lifetime membership if I’d had the money at the time (I went with the founder’s subscription rate instead, which I pay every month whether I get a chance to play or not). I need to spend at least a little bit of time in there collecting screenshots and actually questing at least one character beyond level 10 (my alt-itis spans many games) so that I’ll have something intelligent and/or useful to share.

Another hinderance has been that I’ve only got 1gig of ram at the moment, which is doable but not ideal. Sometimes it’s pretty chunky if it’s a particularily busy time, and I end up having to log out and try again later. I’m ordering some new ram right away though so this shouldn’t be a problem for too much longer.

In other news, our new kitty has the amusing habit of kicking himself in the face when he’s in the throes of intense play with something. I don’t understand it, but it’s cute as hell and I’ll do my best to get a video of it sometime so that you may all share in the lolz. ^_^
