I thought it would take me longer than this, but it seems I’ve almost got the new theme finished. There are a few things that I’ll be tweaking in the days to come but the basic design is pretty much there, and I like it too much to keep it under wraps until every little blockquote and comment field is completely re-styled. I need to optimize a couple images and try to get them as clean and small as possible. Then I’ll be applying the new style, probably tonight. Watch this space!

Update: It’s all done! I’m going to be putting the site into maintenance mode while I apply the changes. I can’t skin the photo pages until I install the theme on the actual site so it’ll take a bit of time. I’ll update again when it’s all done.

Update2: I’m having some trouble getting the photos page to display properly, and have decided to just leave it be for now since it’s after 1am. If I absolutely can’t get  it to work then I’ll be looking at either different flickr plugins or perhaps create some gallery pages manually, whichever seems simpler.
