Photo page not working properly in Safari 3 beta

I’m not sure if this is a problem in the non-beta flavour of Safari, but for some reason when you try to navigate beyond the first page of photos to the second/third/etc, the list of albums shows up for a moment and then vanishes, becoming not just invisible but un-clickable. Poof!

I don’t know why this is happening, and I’m still trying to find out if there’s a fix for it. If I could get my old flickr plugin to work I’d just switch back to it, but I’m not sure if that’s possible or not. I really need to think about learning php properly one of these days so I can fix these sorts of things easier. In the meantime, I’ll be scouring google search results and doing my best to cobble something together.

I may have to manually create albums and gallery pages and whatnot, but that’s a rather messy and labour intensive solution so I’m going to make that a last resort. In the meantime, I recommend either viewing in a different browser or clicking any “view this album on flickr” link to go directly to my flickr account, where you can brows through everything at your leisure.

Sorry about this, it seems like my site is always under construction, and it kind of is, but I’m trying to view it as a learning experience and not get too worked up about it. On the bright side, I read somewhere (I’ll link it if I can find the article again) that some day in the future WordPress will have some sort of native capability to integrate with things like Flickr, so if I continue to use flickr to manage all my photos I’ll be all set, and won’t have to worry about this sort of thing anymore. ^_^
