Success!

I think the haircut turned out okay. ^_^

Before haircut After haircut

I ended up going to a place just a couple blocks from our apartment here in New Westminster. I got a guy who reminded me a bit of the dentist I went to as a kid (Dr Okamura was so awesome, you almost forgot you were going to the dentist), so I was quite comfortable. Somehow, he was able to make those side bits look like they’re supposed to be there, and not the grown our remnants of improperly cut fringe.

I felt like a bit of a dork as I explained that I cut my own hair for a while to save money, because all told it cost less than $30 after tip to have it done properly, so I really should have just gone and had it done right in the first place once every few months instead of mucking with it over several weeks myself.

Anyhoo, I now don’t have to worry that my haircut looks weird. That’s actually a pretty big load off my mind in terms of things I have to do before my friend’s wedding. Now if I can just restrain myself from dying it pink until after I get back. ;)
