I’ve gone pink!
I’ve had some ideas for how to further pinkify this theme for a while, but I thought it would be cooler to wait until October to actually do it since everybody goes pink for October to raise awareness about issues related to Breast Cancer and so forth.
Since mine had some pink in it already, mostly what I did was sort of a photo negative type reversal of the colour scheme, so now the pink bits are dark and the dark bits are pink. My boyfriend says it actually looks cooler, what do you think?
I’m going to be focusing more on design in the coming weeks. I’ve added a couple of sections to the bb to reflect this, but there’s still more work to be done. I’ve been getting requests to design websites as well as the jewellery stuff recently, and I think I’m getting to the point where I want to start designing WordPress themes from scratch-ish. There are blank templates one can start with, so I may just begin there and see what happens. I’ve thought about making my customized backgrounds and stylsheets that I use with this theme available, but I’d have to get permission first so I want to be sure my modifications are clean and easy for others to use before I go there.
If you absolutely love what I’ve done with this theme and would like a version for your own site go ahead and contact me, I just can’t put it up for download at the moment. Cheers!
It feels great to see so many bloggers participating in the Breast Cancer Awareness month!
Besides going pink, I will also try to create and spread the awareness on breast cancer throughout the month.
Ditto. I’m fortunate because as far as we know, breast cancer isn’t common in my family (although prostate cancer is, bad news for the boys) but it is for a couple of my friends.
Thanks for the comment! You’re site is lovely. ^_^
