Home sweet home
I’m back from my trip, and finally beginning to function like normal again. I hadn’t realized just how much into a routine I’d gotten until I left it.
Our kitty seemed a bit out of sorts at first, like he wasn’t sure what to make of me, but now he’s even more relaxed than ever. I think he’s used to folks disappearing and never coming back, and was a bit surprised to see me again at all. Hopefully this will help him feel more secure and confident that we are his parents forever and not just “for now”.
My sweetie gave me 2 seasons of Xena for my birthday upon my arrival, so it’s been all Xena fest in our house since yesterday. We now have seasons 1 through 3, and 6, because the store only had 3 and 6 and I had the first two. I haven’t seen much of the series since it all first aired so I’m pretty happy to have all but 2 years collected now, and surprisingly so is Jamie. I always assumed he was just humouring me but he likes the series too, and some of our earliest “couple” memories are watching episodes together when they first aired.
I’m going to need a couple of days downtime to get back into the swing of things, then there should be more updates and fun stuff. I’m really looking forward to it. ^_^

Xena lol. I’ve not seen that in a million years.
A bit more yeah, for a little while now. At first I’d only intended to use it to post about jewellery stuff here but WordPress is just so fun to play with I ended up doing most of my posting here in general.
I haven’t really watched Xena for a few years either, and it was one of the things Jamie and I kinda bonded over back when we were first dating, so it’s real nice to have some of the seasons to watch. ^_^
