Absofragginlutely. The saving throw one kinda bothered me a bit actually, not sure why.
We were pretty sad when we heard about it. In a way D&D brought me and James together (we gamed with folks who knew each other and so ended up hanging with the same people and eventually hanging out together etc) so we’re kinda super grateful to his legacy.
I wish all my manuals weren’t in Alberta right now. I’d love to give them a little perusal for old time’s sake.
That admittedly is the best reference to Gygax I’ve seen since his passing. Most of them are lame attempts at HP or saving throw jokes.
