Stylesheet rewrite completed, Options implemented!
I had thought that I might make a few changes in the process of the re-write, but I’m still really fond of the style so I simply applied all the same customizations to the newer Dark stylesheet. I also got it all set up to have featured posts and videos and so forth on the front page, with the actual blog on another page (thanks again to all the wonderful features that Justin has put into this update of Options).
I’m still tinkering with things and moving them around, so I apologize if you’re looking for something and it isn’t where you expect it to be. I really really want to do up a new logo sometime soon. I like the basic structure of it, but I think it can be a little more fanciful and interesting for the website at the very least. I should probably draw it by hand.
Oh! I almost forgot. I put the old Photos page back up, using the Slickr plugin again. It’s all lovely and shiny and functional with Lightbox and all that goodness once more. I removed it before because I was trying to rely less on plugins, but I still haven’t found anything that so conveniently makes all my flickr galleries browsable on the website (without my having to create pages for everything by hand. Yeck!). I have reduced the number of plugins I’m using overall, which is probably a good thing.
I’ve still got a bunch of stuff to do, but that’s a pretty good chunk all finished and out of the way. I’ve got a bunch of drawing planned and some other projects, so that I can actually post something besides site updates soon.
