Still Alive!
Sorry there have been no updates for a while. My parents are both in the hospital for different rather dire ailments (at least one of them was totally preventable but the doc screwed it up, long story) so I’ve been rather distracted. I should have something nice to share soon. In the meantime, watch this lovely clip of Felicia Day and Jon Coulton from PAX.
Sidebar: I only just finally played Portal, but haven’t quite finished it yet, and still I’m dying to get there to here this song in it’s proper context. Hearing it on the internet (and playing it over and over and over and over and over) seemingly hasn’t ruined it for me yet. I don’t know if it’s stress or insanity, either way, it’s a wonderful tune.
Sorry to hear about your parents, I hope they recovery quickly!
Thanks, Mum was sounding much better when I spoke to her yesterday and the nurse in Calgary even called to let me know that they were moving him back to the hospital in his own town, so I might be able to speak to them both later.
